'Sent' | Photo Essay

This is a photo essay that I did while attending the University of Tampa. All photos were taken on October 24, 2014 at 1:00pm, at the campus post office. Photos were edited in Adobe PhotoShop. The inspiration for this project came from a work entitled "Magic in a Nearly Forgotten Mailbox." I wanted to show the process of how mail is delivered to the facility, stored, and sent out, while still showcasing the silent beauty of an old post office.
A side-door reads ‘This is NOT the Post Office,’ and points confused patrons in the direction of the entrance of the campus post office.
Vintage combination-lock mailboxes line the walls of University of Tampa’s campus post office.
An old box lies, torn, in the backroom.

'A Collection of Poetry' | Book Layout

This is a book layout for a collection of poetry by famous poets that I created while attending the University of Tampa. Each page was created in Adobe InDesign, then compressed into a PDF. When creating the design, I wanted to play with overlapping shapes, and the contrast between bright colors vs. shades of black and white.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower | Movie Poster Recreation

This is a movie poster recreation I designed for 'the Perks of Being a Wallflower' while attending the University of Tampa. The entire image was created in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to do a play on the pop art/comic book trend in the design, so I recreated the actors in a very cartoony style. I opted to leave out their eyes and noses in the design to play on the expressions you get from merely looking at their eyebrows and their lips.
